Ken, your dropping this razor is the funniest thing I've ever seen on a shaving channel))). Just made laugh! Reminded me of my goofiness when I was putting a blade into brand new just out of the box never used Edwin Jagger and it just slipped through my fingers, fell on the bathroom floor and the head split. I couldn't believe it! As for Milord-good choice. Not the most popular vintage razor but a really nice tool, very mild and sharp at the same time. Always enjoy using it. Take care.

Great shave Ken, I was in Taylor’s yesterday and spoke to Barry, he said they are not discontinuing the grapefruit cream, they have a new cream out called royal forest with notes of bergamot & apple, mid notes of Jasmin and black pepper and a base note of amber and vanilla.

Ken, you have mentioned me in the your last three videos regarding my comment on the astra blades. I found some gillette silver blue laying around and I think I finally found a winner. Matched with a parker variant I got the closest shave in a long time. In addition to the new blade, I tend to choke up on the handle so I decided to hold the razor down low which puts less pressure on the head. Seems to work great so far. Gonna try the new technique on some other razors.

1st I love my Milord. About that tubed shave product you used last week. Trader Joe's has a tubed shave cream that I squirt directly into the brush and it works great. BTW it gives a great shave. This technique may work for you. Loved that razor and brush you used tonight. Feel better, and goodnight.

Would you mind doing a video on how to properly build up lather, care for the soap and other educational stuff? I'm really enjoying your videos, with that calm but enthusiastic voice. I had to learn all this myself, since my dad died when I was 6yo and grandpa shaves with a machine. But to me, wet shave just feels more comfortable, less skin irritating (I have a machine but my face gets all burning after using it) and overall satisfying. But I've been using the stuff in spray up until recently, when in my 35, I've decided I'm old enough for the real deal and switched to soap.

Good shave Ken. Yeah that blade tore you up some. Before I started doing shave videos, people in the past would ask me try their favorite blade and a lot times I would be cringing because I didn't like it and didn't get good results with it. Looks like you had a good time at West Coast Shaving. Sunday can't come quick enough for me. I'm using the Leaf razor and Twig sculptor against a 7 day beard growth to see how it does.

Nice shave Ken. Can't go wrong with TOBS creams, always a great shave for me. Peppermint sounds delectable and perfect for Christmas time shaving. The new WCS brush is interesting, like the size for sure. Yep, gotta see the ol' Doc from time to time, make for sure the innards are working right. Description says Wilkinson Sword Gillette blade, nice try...maybe should have used one though🤨 Gotta love that burn brother, Epsilon is a close second to Floid Blue. peppermint and grapefruit are the only 2 TOBS creams that really stand out as exceptional for me. I have them both and enjoy them. I got my first custom made Wolf Whiskers brush this week so will be trying that out this weekend

I have 2 vintage Techs and both shave very well. Both seemed to have had very little use or were well just cared for either way I've no issues with them. Other than having a contemporary model, for the sake of completeness, I don't see much point in acquiring some of the Contemporary Clones. In fact as I think about it; I do have a Rapira Tech Clone and it is noticeably more aggressive than either of the "Originals"..

Coincidentally, I shaved with a Supermax in an English Tech (the zinc alloy cap toe with Gillette stamped on top). The Supermax was on about its 5th shave. The blade has been very good but not great for me.

The sucky thing about ordering from India is, for some odd reason they always send everything registered mail - meaning if you're not home to sign for the delivery you'll end up going to your local post office to pick up your parcel. Which entirely defeats the purpose of ordering online.

Don't you wash and rinse the new brushes before you use them? I've read that because of handling, an attempt should be made to disinfect new brushes with a good, long soak. I think that Global Shave Club razor is made by Baili in China and you don't want to know the manufacturing cost or wholesale price.
