First, thank you for such a wonderful tour of the monuments. It was a highlight of our trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Second, we visited the Washington monument this past Friday and went up to the top. I highly recommend getting advance tickets instead of waiting in line for same day tickets. It's well worth the $1. The observation deck is cool, but so is the small museum one floor below. My favorite part was being able to see the special state stones on the inside of the monument on the elevator ride down.

That is the osiris private area. They have obelisks all over the world.
