Justin, you may like to consider placing a small piece of 12ply between the motor and the transom. Steel screwing into alum can cause probs down the road. Just a thought from an ex truckie who has a thing about metal on metal, I claim no expertise and am happy to be corrected if my idea lacks merit. Only a minor thing Seriously good looking rig btw!

Another great Vid mate, my dad worked for the Marine division for the Qld government in the 80s and 90s and they bought Stessl tinnys back then as they were the best and still are, My first boat was one cause of what dad told me so you got an awesum little machine there. Hey love it and your system system works great, but might I make a suggestion you install a swing out boom on rack to lift the outboard and set on the boat using the winch, would be a great back saver and nothing worse than injuring your back while on vacation. And hey was thinking also if you strap trailer to the boat you could flip both over in one go! Cheers from Ontario Canada and good luck fishing. :) Andy

It looks great just chuck some pool noodle on your ladder and you can get rid of that other gadget failing that you can just put some of that blue nylon on your transom and it will just slide down your ladder keep the videos coming

Hi Justin, I have the same tinny. I had it custom built last year by Alf Stessl in Geelong to use as a roof topper. Alf is the father of Tim in Queensland. These are great boats. I purchased two Tracwedge sideport gunwale mounts for my tinny after watching your videos but they won't fit in the gunwale. I thought looking at your video they were the ones. Can you advise what you have used. They look like very good products. Thanks

Gidday Justin, i have exactly the same tinnie as you guys and i'm struggling to find the correct RailBlaza Gunnel fitting, any clues mate as to the correct part no. The supposed TracWedge does not fit the C shaped gunnel extrusion. Keep up the good work - Cheers Doug

The Tohatsu MFS20 is even lighter again than the Mercury, by 1.5kg, I would suggest a safety chain on that engine too, seen plenty loosen up on the transom & jump off,

Morgan Woods stays dry in a bit of chop. To be honest I haven’t had it out in tough weather. A Bimini is no good for me as it’s just more stuff I need to remove when I put it up on roof.

Net stays in boat on clamps behind rear seat. Fuel tank goes on draw bar of caravan behind stone guard and anchor and other bits live in a storage box that goes in tunnel boot of caravan 👍

Hey Justin I have a Top Tracker and tried fitting the Railblaza fittings to the rail. No luck they don’t fit and when I asked the store they looked on the Railblaza site and they state that they don’t fit the Mako Craft Top Tracker. Did you modify the piece that fit inside the rail? Thanks mate

Great set up, works for you which is the main thing! With the sounder/jump starter - how do you find your set up? I imagine you have the wires from the transducer/power cables hardwired in the tinny and then just plug in the finder and jump starter when you want to use it? Do you find the transducer gets in the way when removing the tinny from the roof? Would be expensive to snap off haha. Hope you're enjoying SA!

Hi Justin, great vid! Hey I also have ordered a 376 for roof topping. I ordered the casting platform too but am thinking of cancelling it before it goes into production due to weight. Can I ask your thoughts if perhaps the casting deck would make it too heavy. Buddy what are you doing wrong ...should have got a boat full .. bit more info on using the jump starter to run the sounder would be great and affixing the Eski must be more than one star port ? Try using some vibes over rubble bottoms - reach out to Ryan Moody on using your sounder or Mr Sonar

Dean Martin Team Gotcha I just plug the cig socket into the jump starter and turn her on and it runs all day, so simple👍 and yeah the esky is screwed through to the seat as well as the star port on the floor. I am sourcing a few extra star ports and extenders to mount one either side of esky and back to the seat so it will be easily removable... at the moment I can’t catch fish so the esky can stay in😂😂
