Whenever I save TC chip for double game week it generally underwhelms. I'm using it for Haaland vs Ipswich, he won't be rotated, is fit and is obviously confident given his quote. I'm just gonna do it.

+1 here mate. Tripple captain. If anything halland ownership will grow so if anything its best to do it now whilst he is 'low' owned. I always hold TC for double game weeks and it's always some random lower tier player that hauls anyway!

I don’t think any chip, other than the bench boost, should be used in a double game week. Every double game week I can recall, particularly when teams like City and Liverpool are involved, almost always ends up with squad rotation being used and the player you captain, like Haaland, only getting 1 game in the week. Absolute waste of a triple captain tab. Use it in a single game week like this coming one. Bench boost in a double week gets max points out of your team I think. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think it depends on the situation. If at the time of the double game week, City are chasing Arsenal for the title.. then I don't see Haaland being rested (especially without Alvarez). But I agree, double game weeks are usually underwhelming.

I was trying to put across an argument not to triple captain someone like Haaland in a double game week, because he plays in a team notorious for using squad rotation in double game weeks. I just think if you’re tempted to use a chip in a double week, why not use the one that gives you most chance of using your whole squad?

Quansah was still the right pick, if he hadn't of been pulled he would have scored 6 points and probably gone up in price this week, unfortunately he has gone down in price now but I'm still happy with him.

yep, id rather keep him. Right pick at the time, and still a chance he may still be. Already dropped in price so nothing to lose as dropping another 0.1 makes no difference now in terms of which players you can swap to. If he doesnt play I have cover on the bench and I have the minimum price dead weight on the bench, but if he DOES play... 👌 win win.

Felt forced to trade quansah really wanted to hold, I’ve got burn trent and Porro starting back 3 with quansah and barco bench but with porro being flagged it feels to risky holding quansah with price drop and porro maybe missing, I’ve traded in Robinson from Fulham

Sold barco, i see him as a bigger issue than quansah because brighton team is getting stacked and players are returning from injury, as with quansah he'll still get game time. Slots comments arent a knock at him but more on the fact that liverpool changed playstyles at half time. Quansah is still very much slots sort of defender in terms of passing ability, compared to konate is more for duels against physical teams

There is double game weeks pal, basically due to cup games and such, games in the Prem get pushed about. This results in some teams having two games within a gameweek. People tend to triple captain a player during a double gameweek as you have two opportunities to haul.
