To be fair, Cody didn't leave to AEW. He literally created the whole thing alongside his friends and an investor. He did the same thing Drew did, bet on themselves, find their grit, and come back stronger and better. It's like poetry. Cody was groomed by WWE since he was 17. He learned everything he knew from Dusty and Vince. His favorite wrestler was HHH, I mean, Hollywood couldn't write a story like this. The perfect hero journey.

I think the recent scare of the possibility of selling to the Saudis have put things into perspective. If they do sell to the Saudis, it would be an end to an era and none of these real life beefs won't matter. Triple H was my favourite wrestler as a kid. When all the other big names left he was one of the only ones with undertaker, HBK and Kane who stayed and kept me watching. I Respect him even more now seeing how good he is at putting everything together as a booker. Cody is my current favourite so its cool seeing him express his admiration for the game and even though he took a shot at him in AEW he's still being pushed in the right direction. How ironic that the one with "golden shovel" is now the one responsible for getting everyone over and making the product worth watching again!

But I think a lot of that is because of the massive tier gap between the roster and the bloodline storyline. The bloodline storyline is the best thing wwe has had In a decade. It's so good that the rest of the roster is just pushed aside.
