This is a fun opening that I've now tried about 50 times. But not once has any opponent brought up the second black pawn to G5. Nonetheless the opening does confuse some folks, which is fun. But if don't change strategy quickly, I often get beaten when my opponent develops normally.

My only problem is when Kevin goes over these gambits and traps I feel like he only goes over when your opponent plays incorrectly. So you’re screwed when they actually play correctly. Also a lot of people I play against decline gambits, just because they don’t understand them and don’t want to fall into a trap.

If you are referring to someone would never go for the Triple Muzio Gambit in the first place because it's incorrect that feels like a different thing entirely. At 1:38 after Qeen takes d4 I dont understand why not just take the pawn on f4 with bishop, preparing bishop e5, discovered check and both queen and rook is under attack. Not much black can do besides queen f6, after which white has some threats including after maybe rook d1 bishop can pin queen to rook, and queen is pinned, could exchange but the rook is still lost

Actually I just realized rook d1 is unnecessary because the queen would be pinned, after queen f6 simply bishop d4, all black can do to save the queen is exchange then the rook is lost.
