112 days sober. I relapsed yesterday and lost that. I lost my best friend and sponsor and found out my mom's got a year to live. This song always gets me. I listen to this everytime I feel like crying. I've tried to show this song to a dozen people I thought were special to me and nobody felt the same, the same way it made me feel. I hope everyone stays strong and keeps living their life as they should. Don't be like me. Don't let alcohol consume you.

I drank from 15 to 24 and I was sober for three years I relapsed on July 2nd and drank a total of two handles and a fifth. I had one handle left that I ordered the night before and when I woke up on the morning of July 5th I debated for a short time whether I wanted to continue hurting myself. The bottle got poured down the sink and I got back up on my sober horse. I finally accepted that I enjoy how alcohol makes me anxious, unstable and erratic. Like how we become addicted to stress. I find all that chaos to be a great distraction from what’s in front of me. It gives me adrenaline and I used to judge myself harshly for liking that sort of self-destruction but having it out there and admitting I’m human is what’s really helping me get through life these days. I hope you’re doing well.
