Was just looking to see if anybody else commented on this. It's definitely the easiest way to stay away from the birds.

I love this rutine of waking up and watching your Ori gameplay. I'm going to scream if you reach Ori 2

Oliver giggleling like a lil kid really takes me back how i felt about this game. i notice this in many playtroughs but u really can express your joy in the videos. many other just say "oh cool" and thats their commentary. this really takes me back to my cryaotic days

A game with such a fluid and perfect control scheme / gameplay shows how inviting it can be to 100% something without sweating it - because you're having fun getting to the parts for 100%. Oliver casually doing 100% because doing it is FUN is just such a good thing to see.

oh baby it's a tripple. You're currently on vacation if i remember correctly, so have fun and stay healthy.

I love Ori because of how much you can cheese with the abilities and skills of the player. And Oliver has those skills!

46:45 Valley of the Wind. Favourite background in the game, though there is one that gets close later. Either way, I think that the scenery of the valley with the cliffs, fog, and and Mt. Horu looks fantastic.

9:30 He forgot the cutscene with Kuro attacking the tree already. (There were more spirits.) Edit: nvm commented to fast, too used to Oliver forgetting small things
@lorettabes455320 күн бұрын
It happens. Idk why Oliver keeps forgetting Naru met Ori after Ori's kind was gone (and when Naru was an Adult and had left home). Ori wasn't a friend, he was literally born in the first cutscene.
@spinosaurusiii702720 күн бұрын
@@lorettabes4553 Well no, not quite, when Ori was born, other spirits still existed, since they only disappeared after the Tree called out to Ori and got Sein stolen by Kuro.

4:51 Actually you can go that way. There's a stompable switch right at 3:20. Not everything is opened by lantern.

It's a shame that this game isn't balanced around completionist, but the game is so fun that it barely matters lol. Still, I would prefer if it wasn't so easy to max out Ori before you even get close to the end game
@Timelord7921 күн бұрын
Have you tried playing on Hard difficulty? Cause you definitely cannot max ori out then unless you resort to mindless grind of spirit XP along the way.
@supercyclone834221 күн бұрын
@@Timelord79 Oh really? I thought I did play Hard but maybe not lol. Unfortunately, I don't own the game anymore due to account issues (thanks Microsoft), but I actually get the urge to replay this occasionally

But being OP is so fun though!
@lorettabes455320 күн бұрын
It is very much balanced for completionists, because it's super fun collecting. I do think Light Burst makes cheesing too easy - sequence breaking the order of stuff you can get, but before the definitive edition it was better balanced, I won't disagree with you there. Now the real difficulty is 100% the achievements, not Ori himself. (If you know what your doing, even on Hard it's still doable to 100% Ori themself)
@lorettabes455320 күн бұрын
@erikhaag4250 it's super fun!! And there are still abilities for Oliver to unlock. Misty woods is gonna mess with his ability to get around the way he has anyway

I think he literally was so focus on the cells and the lanterns, that he forgot them until Valley of the wind reminded him. I've seen multiple let's players forget the Stomp switch because it 'blended too much into the background.' He'd only seen used on before, but now the green switch should go into his memory (I hope) haha

i forgot how beautiful this game is. sadly i never got far this is one of those games that got ruined for me by WoW. not that i couldnt have gone back to it now after quitting wow but it was so long ago now. basically any time i tried to step away from wow i would get this fomo cause i gotta do my dailies on 50 characters and then theres the weeklies and monthlies and dungeons and raids and gotta keep grinding that borrowed power feature of the expansion etc etc. and then they even added half dailies where yo uwould have events that would change halfway through the day.... god wow got so awful. and now even looking at it theres way too much wow. 4 versions of classic, hardcore, season of discovery, retail, and dailies and weeklies in almost all of it. gave diablo4 a try and even that game. world events all over the place and side quests and then world boss every 4 hours and fomo seasons and you gotta start over every 3 months. i hate seasons in games ive been trying to get back to complete experiences like this
