Dawnbringer was a trait and only applies to mirage while jax evasion is an augment for your entire board. It's a lot more flexible since you don't actually have to play mech either and still benefit from Jax's brawler trait and augment.

It just sounds like you're not familiar with him or his content- despite the numerous times him and albert have played together. He's very popular for his monotone and sarcastic way of talking- which can be mistaken by people unfamiliar with who he is. But he's got exceptionally good humor- with a very successful KZbin page and with him personally hosting many events and talking segments for his org and others as well
