Very interesting build. For nearly 70 years, I have pretty much always had a pocket knife on me but never gave much thought as to how they are constructed. Looks actually pretty challenging to get right.

When cutting the lockbar you can prevent that curving you got by scoring the cut all the way from one end to the other first instead of cutting through then across

Yeah I realized that after doing it. I should have just plunged in one end then moved across. That’s what I did last time, not sure why I didn’t this time. 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for watching

I use only Dremel cut off discs now. Had one of the generic ones unalive itself at 20,000 rpm and almost take my eye out.

Hey Dennis Building the knife at the moment. Great tutorial. One question the tapped holes for the back bar, are the only tapped on one side? Cheers

Yes, only tapped on one side and countersunk on the other so the screw heads sit flush against the scales. I hope that helps that’s for following the series.
