Here is what i think happened: The Souls got sick of Xeno shenanigans and they are manipulating him. Tails and Eggman got the idea to manipulate Xeno to sing against BF and after it's Xeno turn, Knux does something (idk, kill? Maybe with the help of Metal Sonic?). The 3 say their plan to BF and after it goes right, Tails thanks BF because now they can die in peace. Or maybe i am just wrong lol.

Fun fact: The "Characters Letimotiff" changed for each character, example: In the first Tails parte (in the original Triple Trouble), it played Chemical Plant as a 'hidden letimotiff', but for Knuckles as Tails it played Angel Island, Eggman in Knuckles' place played somewhat Sonic 4 boss theme (as I could hear), and Xenophanes played Green Hill Zone theme. Only Tails had no letimotifs. Really sad :( 1 like in the video for Tails letimotiff petition

I think original is better ngl. Cus one. Tails: first character to be killed by sonic.exe/xenophanes. That's why tails is first (it also goes with the other 2. (Knuckles and eggman/robotnik) also the chemical plant reference is in the original triple trouble. It's a good reference to the old game (tho you do find tails in green hill I think) still , tails is known best to be in chemical plant zone , not knuckles (even tho you do right with sonic.exe/xenophane's in the game in chemical plant zone) Knuckles: as we all know knuckles was the second one killed by sonic.exe/xenophanes. That's why he is the second character in the normal triple trouble. (Not using xenophanes for now) in knuckles part , he references a song that I forgot the name of (knuckles references the instrumental) so knuckles should be in the second part , not a tails place. (Tho he did right sonic.exe/xenophanes in chemical plant) that's knuckles done. Eggman/robotnik: eggman is the third character to be killed by sonic.exe/xenophanes. That's why he is third (not using xenophanes part rn) of the characters. He is also the final boss of the original Sonic games as like if I was saying sonic 1 or 2. Eggman should not be the second character , knuckles should b (knuckles references that song instrumental again) so eggman should be the third one (my p.o.v) Xenophanes/sonic.exe: sonic is the main protagonist of all sonic games so it would make sense to put him the most out of the Triple Trouble characters. As we all know he references the drowning theme from some sonic games.that making it reasonable t put him the most of of them , not tails of course because he is sonics sidekick. So now we know xeno should go the most. I spent a long time writing this so pls give it a like! I don't hate this I'm just making an argument that the characters should be where they were originally.
