Honestly despite the bad criticism it got i believe its one of the good animated environmental films ive seen since Ferngully and the fact it shows both the bad and good actions humans cause to wildlife. Plus the 3 Ferlings are quite intresting and Abigail is my favorite character though personality wise im like Edgar as a kid. Little Michelle and her plight was so sad and the song sang from her uncle was both heartwarming and also tearjearking sad.

This song is kinda amazing. I remember watching this 1993 British-American animated film on VHS when I was younger and I thought it was very enjoyable. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and distributed by 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios). After Disney's 2019 purchase of 20th Century Fox and its former parent company 21st Century Fox, this is technically the first Hanna-Barbera film to be distributed by Disney. Anyway it is probably one of the most underrated animated films of all time. I still like it though.

Every now and then for the past decade or so I've had this tune pop up in my head randomly during the day. I've searched all over to find where it was from, because as a child I didn't remember the name of this movie, nor the name of the song. I heard Runaway by Real McCoy and it sounded super familiar, so I started looking through all their remixes and searching for acapellas. Just today, while looking up animal documentaries from the 90s on Imdb I had an animal cartoon movies list pop up instead. I instantly recognized the characters from this movie, even after some 20 years of watching it. Rewatched the entire movie by myself. Cried. Not just because of the story, but the memories and nostalgia from my childhood, rewatching half this movie (partly recorded) on VHS. This song. Ugh. This was my childhood right here.
