Beautiful if heartbreaking song, especially since it's about the bassist's actual experience with PTSD following his service in Afghanistan. I'm just learning the guitar, and I'm going to try this one out.

And on tides we can’t be untouched by Of troubles stay when lids lay over eyes The frames and faces I’ve mistaken For kids whose lives I may have taken And if so, do I haunt their parents dreams? And in so, am I summarized by sounds of young lung screams? Their young one’s screams And of war bonds and blood stained hands Combat neurosis shys from indica strands And it breaks my mother’s heart to know I came back broken With the thought of my arms spilt open And if so, would bring their parent’s peace? And if so, could I give back the sounds of their children’s screams? Let go of what I’ve seen And if so, do I haunt their parents dreams? And in so, am I summarized by sounds of young lung screams? Their young one’s screams

Emo revival is here.

David Kidd I don't think you understand, emo is just heartfelt emotional music characterized by a non-pop style which has no irony, but true genuine emotion which can be seen in any beating heart, so even if you don't understand the lyrics, the music it's self taps into an archetypal story.

+Jelloshxtgun Nah, seems to be more about war. Notice the drums? Sounds like something soldiers listen to while marching.

Indica staving off the PTSD from the horrors of war. The depression. The anxiety. It’s about all of it.
