Simmo was always class. I miss him as a coach, but I'm feeling pretty optimistic about McQalter, and with Woosha onboard as head of football, Pyke as CEO and Clarke as list boss, it does feel like the right balance of club legends and fresh faces with fresh perspectives.

Mini appears to have all the makings of a top-tier coach, and West Coast seem to have made a smart decision in appointing him as their head coach. It seems Richmond may have misjudged their coaching selection, which is reflected in both the team’s underwhelming on-field performances and the loss of key players.
