Just an added note, i had my radio set to dynamic power and it wouldn't flash, took me a while to figure it out, lol, i got the pocket for gorilla ripping cuz its less clunky then my nirvana, i'm glad you made this video cuz i have tons of kwads set with passwards

I have an issue I'm using 1.5.5 can flash and build but radio master pocket not there on my other laptop got latest configurator but it don't let me build and flash only build any help cheers I've flashed my Elrs Hglrc Hermes 2.4 GHz on 3.2.1 same as my speedy bee nano 2.4ghz that one works with this radio but can't get Hglrc to bind to radio. Master pocket get WiFi hot spot telly me what soft ware on receiver but on radio say lbt 3.3.1 crsf in on internal so what am I missing cheers

Firstly you need to make sure your receivers and radios are on the same firmware version. If you can only build but not flash the firmware you need to check your computer is detecting your radio. Please do these things first and if still a problem get back to me. I do have a video which should help you solve the driver problem if you are having a problem.

Thank you for making this informative video. I have a slight problem however. My radiomaster pocket does not update via the configurator. I believe my computer is not recognizing it properly. driver issue maybe. do you have any recommendations?

I have one question ❓. I created a binding phrase on the ELRS configuration. Everything was successful and I went to plug in the RM Pocket and the SD card can't be read. I get error saying can't read SD content. Now I'm stuck again. My screen on elsr configuration is just like yours now but I can't load the new lus script without the SD card being read. What do I do now??

I would suggest downloading the SDCard contents, format the card and copy the downloaded contents to the card.

Ok, i have the radio and the reciever connected but when running the wizard to set what is what the rudder doesnt work. If I then place the rudder to the elevator spot it works if it thinks it is the elevator. Maybe I have partly faulty R84 reciever.

Hi Gerald, I would suggest try setting up a new standard model first and see it the channels are operating correctly.

@@toepunch001 If you have set up you model with a standard model I would guess you channel mapping is AETR so rudder will be Chanel 4. If you have plugged into channel 4 the rudder servo should work. Try plugging in another servo to channel 4 and see if the channel is working if so you have a faulty servo. Go to Model and INPUTS and check your mapping.

I kinda have it working but when doing the wizard the rudder doesn’t work. When I switch the rudder servo to elevator the servo does work. Maybe my receiver doesn’t fully work?

Hi it should be on your Pocket radio if not go to the ExpressLRS Buddy and download it and place it on your radios SDCsrd in the Tools folder.

There is not a setting to factory reset the radio. You can delete all the models and flash the latest firmware to the radio.

You will need to log into your router to see the devices and their IP addresses. Just check the procedures in the video and try again. Sometimes it does not work first time.

I'm newer to the hobby and getting into building them, ordered this controller, what I ordered it as was the ELRS version. received it today and went to update the firmware and it has not gone smoothly, leading me down a rabbit trail to find that my firmware is cc2500, does this mean that I did not receive what I had actually ordered? struggling to understand cc2500 and ELRS. thank you for any help.

Hi Cole, welcome to the hobby. You need to check your invoice to see which version you ordered and if that does not tell you the shop you bought it from should. If you have flashed the incorrect firmware you may have bricked the transmitter. Once you have confirmed the version you have let me know.

Hm, not sure what happened I typed up a reply and it vanished so ill send it again. thank you for the fast response! I went back and checked my order and I did purchase what was listed as the ELRS version not the cc2500, to go along with my ELRS RX. when trying to flash new software I saw no com3, which led to me looking into what firmware was already on it, where I found cc2500 files in firmware. Am I correct in saying that the transmitters are either ELRS or cc2500 protocol, and they are not all both? if that's the case then am I correct in assuming I was set the wrong transmitter? thanks again@@the-happy-RC-flyer

@@colesauber4794 ok Cole, it should be an ExpressLRS version if that is what you ordered. What I want you to do is set up a model and turn on the internal module and select CRSF. Then goto SYS and run the ExpressLRS lua script if it loads, you will see options, you have an ExpressLRS TX if not it must be a. CC2500 or multi protocol module version. Let me know how you get on.

@@the-happy-RC-flyer So I am having a heckuva time getting my quad to arm. Everything "seems" to be working in BF, meaning the controls all work, modes,, etc etc. I have Aux 1 as the Arm button and have it setup to Voice "Armed" that its armed. I see the Signal Bars on the Pocket screen so assume I am binding correctly. So I was wondering if I should just start over and factory refresh the Pocket. I have tried everything to get this thing to arm. The Quad is a GEPRC Cinibot35 v2.

Have you checked the throttle is working the correct way? Arming angle normally would be set to 180. Please test with props off.

There is no factory reset as such for ExpressLRS you would flash the firmware again but you should not need to do this only if the receiver or transmitter are bricked. What problem are you having?
