How to play Trash (Garbage)

This is also known as Takoyaki, with these rules: 1. Face cards are unplayable. 2. The joker is a wild.

this game is also called "Takoyaki" in Japan, and the reason for that is that takoyaki is cooked in pans with 10 spots. This is the same game as Trash. (just a little fun fact)

2p = 1 deck 3p or 4p = 2 decks and so on. Starting from 5p and then going with odd numbers, you'll need an extra deck for each extra 2 players playing.

Or just divide the number of players by 2 and round up the result. For example, 15 players would be 8 decks needed because 15/2=7,5.

Oh, and when you flip over all 10 cards on your side, let everyone know by saying "Trash", then everyone else has 1 more turn left before the round ends.

This game is just luck right? Or did I miss something? I was wondering on creating some extra rules to make it a bit more strategic, like “you can’t move the wild card after it’s placed”, which forces you to make a smarter selection on where to put it…

Some people play this game with this rule: kings are wild and jacks and queens are not playable.

For how my friends play: Jack = discard and draw again King= wild Queen= swap it with another player’s face up card of your choosing, then you get to claim that card that you stole. Queens make it very fun When your playing with a group of friends. Everyone goes “oh crap” as the person with the queen card acts like “oooh, you have a king, I’ll be taking that.”

We play 4 ways 1:you can’t draw from the discard pile 2:if you uncover a card you can play you hold onto it until your next turn 3:kings are wild and jacks and queens are unplayable 4:SOMETIMES we play with decreasing cards But most of the time we play whoever wins 1 round wins
