:) ✅Retaliate: Card game. * Retaliate is a war game using 1 set of playing cards. 🔷To Start: Up to 2 players, each will receive 7 or 9 cards. Both must play cards at the same time (also if stalemated). Who’s ever gets eliminated they must retaliate. 🔷To Eliminate: A card can eliminate if it has a higher value: 10♦️ >>> 6♠️. A card can also eliminate if it has a lower value but has the same suit: 2♥️ >>> 9♥️. 🔷To Reinforce Cards: * Reinforce cards are multiple cards with the same suit or rank. Same suit will total the value. Same rank can switch suits. 🔷To Stalemate: When cards are the same value both sides are eliminated. 🔷To Win: The opponent can’t play. 🔷Q & A: Q- Can we look at our cards? A- Yes! In this game you must choose your cards to play. Q- About reinforced cards, do I play on what’s already put or use multiple at once? A- Yes! Both play styles are possible, but it’s depending on if you already have a card out. Q- So I have out a 2, a 10, and a jack and they’re all the same suit. But the my opponent plays a 7 and it’s also the same suit. So is all my cards eliminated except for the 2 or all my cards eliminated in total? A- That is optional, but “all cards eliminated in total” is recommended.

I was taught this by a fellow kid at daycare, who inexplicably called it Space Rummy. When I used to ask people if they knew it they had no idea what I was talking about lol. But I think thats one of my favorite parts of card games, that theyre passed down in a kind of oral tradition, and like a game of telephone, things get scrambled in translation!

I always played it with the jack being the only end of turn card, the king being wild, and a queen being draw again.

I play this often with my son.. we use the same rules but we use all 54 cards.. the Red Jacks are wild and holds the spot until the card that goes in the spot is found... and the Jokers are used as super wild cards, meaning that any of the 2 Jokers can be placed permanently in any spot

If you draw a King and place it in a number slot and the face-down card is the number of that number slot, can you place that number slot card there and move the king to another slot?

More than 3 players use two of cards. Also, depending on what region of the United States you live in, it is called Trash. I play the game all the time with my students.

How I learned is to use jacks to jack the other players flipped cards if you need it and need all the jacks out your deck before winning

You can play it by yourself and just flip the 'player 2' cards on their turn since there is no decision making involved, it is all about luck of who flips/draws their cards in the right order and finishes first.... If you complete your set first then you win... If 'player 2' set gets completed first, you lost.... Kinda makes for a good solitaire game

The jack is supposed to be used to jack other players card and you can't win with jacks on your side till you replace them with kings or numbers (at least that's how I was taught in jail)

My sister and her friend were the first people to start playing this card in the K-5 after school care. We called it Trash can, played with skip-bo cards and once someone won we’d play again but the person who won would only have 11 cards not 12. We continued playing until someone would start with no cards. The skip-bo card could be used as any card. It became a known game that everyone played. Yeah, we were really bored in after school care. When someone drew a card that was already flipped up, they would hand it to the other player, and if they didn’t need it it would be put in the trash can, I haven’t played it in years but want to.
