How to play Rook: Move it horizontally or vertically. You can play a special move with your king, castling. Move the king 2 squares to the rook and move the rook over the king.

Rooks don't castle. Castling is a king move. If you touch your rook, you can't castle. You have to touch your king first.

It moves any number of tiles perpendicularly until it runs into a piece. The piece it runs into can be captured. If one rook and the king are both unmoved and the rook can run into the king, the king moves 2 tiles toward the rook while the rook is placed directly next to the king. This move is called Castling.

I know it's pointless to mention, but I thought that it was funny that rooks in chess are worth 5 points and there are 4 of them making all the rooks on a board 20 points, which is the value of the rook card.

I always played this game with the rook card being the lowest valued trump card. Made things more interesting when it was played.

They can be used in other variants. Like for instance the red 1 can be added as the highest trump card worth 30 points making the hand a total of 150 instead of 120. Also you can play a 6 player variant with all cards.

You definitely need to redo the whole video. The entire deck is dealt. The first five cards are one to each at a time followed by one to the nest. Once five are in the nest, the rest of the deck normally. The minimum bid is 70.
