I was not okay with my mental health during that time. I literally could not imagine going to the NICU any longer.

Both of my girls were in the NICU. My first for 9 days and my second for 6 weeks. I cannot imagine continuing to go up there for as long as you have, but you both have done such an amazing job and are so dang strong! Curious, is Ezzy rounder than the other boys, or is his face and eyes more swollen from his tubes and vent? They are all adorable! Praying for Ezzy to come home and join the family soon! Love you guys! Stay strong 🥰 and have a great thanksgiving!

Aubrey you would love it at my house we have a blue jay that taps on our window when we are not outside for peanuts. He eats them out of our hands and if we are sitting outside and don't have any he will sit and wait till we go in the house and get one... If we don't shut the door behind us when we go in he just flys in the house like he owns the place!!! Lol

The boys were born at 27 weeks and were in the nicu for a while. Being born so early came with complications. Slowly the boys got better and healthy enough to go home however Ezzy has had a harder time getting to a place where he can come home without 24hour surveillance. He has needed a couple of surgeries and those pushed back his timeline for getting home, along with other complication too. Hopefully he will continue to get stronger and healthier where he can come home soon!

Idk if this will be seen or not but worth a try! I’ve followed your guys journey since you found out you where expecting! I emphasize with you an all you take on, I think from a mom to mom your one of the most badass moms that most of us wanna be 😂❤ In all serious though, I’d love to private message you or have you make a video on people who have or are going through High risk pregnancy and the things to help prepare for NICU journey. Since our 20 week scan we’ve been tellahealth every 2 weeks and driving to KC staying at Ronald McDonald when up there ( we are from Joplin Metro area ) and will have to be seen weekly at 32 weeks , an then admitted at 38 weeks and will deliver KC with the Fetal Health center/team at the Downtown hospital ❤ I have a 5 year old and 2.5 year old at home so any tips and tricks for making KC trips easier, how to better prepare for nicu ( we won’t know how long our nicu stay will be obviously ) and what helped you prepare your baby for surgery after they where born! My daughter may or may not have to have surgery right after birth depending on her and how she writes her story of course! Thank you again and for sharing your story!

Only Ezzy is in hospital and he is much loved by the nursing staff who look after him until its safe enough to come home, The same staff will more then likely become his home nurses because they love him like their own ❣️🥰
