Need to comment on “ How fortunate we were that the Venetians were present in Ellas in order to beautify it “ ??? Why on earth would you say something as crazy as that? It was the Venetians who bombarded the Parthenon in Athens amongst other things things. Where pray tell did the Venetians get their skills from? Classical Hellenic skills taken from the time of the Roman Empire. I just find your comment strange I personally do not thank our oppressors in making Greek land beautiful. It always was and always will be stunning and beautiful. Let’s better orientate our perspectives Thank you.

refers to the unique venetian architecture which made beautiful many greek places and towns, not to the greek nature b.t.w. it was due to the vebetians that many greek places, like ionian island, were not conquered by the turks

If you're planning to visit Nafplio, check out a great book about its history, buildings and characters: "Nafplio: Biography of a Greek Town" by Matt Stanley. It has a guided walk and a load of information about the castles, the squares, the coastal walk and much more . . .

After booking my holiday and not realising that Nafplio was 2hours away from Athens I thought that this holiday was going to be a disaster but after watching this video all in all I think that’s it worth it 😭 what would anyone recommend to Us of getting there is the bus good or is it better to rent a car? 💕💕
@tripment5 жыл бұрын
It is worth it :) You can get there by bus or car, depending on what you want to spend!
Somari Bus is better because it's cheaper. The first capital of Greece before Athens, Napflio, is a wonderful place. It's really worth seeing it ! Food is very tasty and people are so hospitable ! You will never be sorry of your choice. I was there.

You did very well to avoid showing the Xenia in your film, and hiding it behind foliage on the shot that it was visible.
@tripment6 жыл бұрын
I didn't try to hide it!

Fair enough :) the Xenia is James Bonds favourite hotel.

@tripment6 жыл бұрын
