@@kamaratti9539 Yes. You are correct to a good extent, I believe. Additionally, there are many levels to this relationship between substance, body of the host of the substance, and mind of that host... So, I wouldn't say it's all about the state of mind; I think it might be better to see it as a spectrum, or even better, as amultidimensional coordinate system... On one dimension, from placebo/nocebo effect to a state of being conquered by the substance, and everything in between these two... On another dimension, from how the outcome- which results from the substance being mentally "digested"- interacts with the mind to how mind impacts on this "mental digestion", and again everything in between... And, so on... After all, the unknown must be considered; and, the known must not be the only thing that's considered.

It’s more than that. He saw that Hamilton could be humble, but not humble enough to follow every instruction. It was partly the language barrier, and partly differences in the ways they use mind-altering substances. Both seek something similar, but Hamilton does it by new experience, constant learning of new ideas, pushing boundaries etc, and the shaman does it by ritual, by self-inflection and carefully. There’s benefits to both. I wish Hamilton had been more respectful but understand why there was that barrier to truly understanding eachother. Psychedelic understanding is a mix of the two and for a scientist like Hamilton or someone who thinks in terms of/ seeks explanations from science like me, it can be very hard to just put that aside and trust someone who seems so outside of modern critical-thought. Oh, but we do need to acknowledge the fact that Hamilton cares enough and is respectful enough to seek out these people and try to learn from them, he’s just a natural skeptic and these people achieve what they do by limiting/ removing their own skepticism.

@@coolintuitivename4910 We all have this notion that shamanism just isn’t “as good” or accurate as the scientific lense, but it prevents us from experiencing alternate ways of trying psychedelics which were important to understanding early use of these substances. I've done the Yopo (Cebil seeds, sci. Anadanthera Peregrina) which is the female genus of the seed (Anadanthera Colubrina is the 'male' genus and the trip is rougher, more direct and not recommended for beginners) but if you have them side by side, it's hard to know the difference (similar colors, similar shape, size) and it is not the 'oldest' psychedelic element, it is just not that well known or used like Ayahuasca but, the content of Anadenanthera Peregrina seeds has been noted to contain significant quantities of bufotenin alongside lesser amounts of 5-MeO-DMT (Bufotenin, similar to the Bufo Alvarius Toad) and even the preparation is as simplistic as 'toasting' the seeds into a pan under moderate fire until the skin cooks and cracks, and the inner 'meat' then, it is grounded to a powder and mixed with pickled lime powder and a few drops of water, mixed and spreaded thin into a thick piece of aluminum paper and let to dry for at least 24 hours, then scrapped off and snorted like cocaine. The pickled lime powder (food grade type for cooking in white powder form) is the MAOI's or inhibitor that lets it be absorbed into the bloodstream and directly into the brain. The old man only cooked it and gave it to our guy in bits and pieces, including the toasted shell, that's why he had to spell it out... Had he mixed it with the lime powder, the effect would had come within 10 seconds, 10x stronger and followed by an very intense pressure in the skull as if it was placed in a vise, but it only lasts for about 30-40 seconds. Once the trip starts, the "visuals" are so REAL, you can almost "touch them" and lasts for about two hours and it's fast-paced but, the "after glow" can last for days. This seed is no joke... It is (only second to pure DMT intravenously) the Fastest, most Vivid and Intense of all the trips but when it starts to wear down, the "landing" it's the most peaceful 'feeling' and embracing sensation that will connect you to mother Earth & humanity and you will Cry with Respect & Humility... Really.

I had a moment on my first mushroom trip where i was lying in bed and lost total connection to my physical body. I felt as i was just a dot of energy on my pillow such a crazy feeling and made me smile, really realized that we are really nothing but energy and had an overwhelming feeling from that trip onwards.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

Bufotenine (5-HO-DMT) is the main psychoactive chemical that is responsible for all this profound things alongside with DMT and 5-Meo-DMT, but mainly there is a bufotenine in those seeds. The seeds are called yopo seeds(Anadenanthera peregrina) and/or cabil seeds (Anadenanthera colubrina)

Perhaps this is what they mean when they say: "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy".
@BigBodyBiggolo2 жыл бұрын
Its not about having, its about owning. "You'll OWN nothing and be happy". Because they own it all. Yes you have a TV and youll have food and all that, but you pay them for the right of having it in your house or on your person. Its all about patents and the ability to sell things without people having the ability to change it or sell something similar, cause they own it. Which the majority of stuff already is. Its the reason why they dont just sell bakingsoda as a cleaning agent, but sell something which the same properties but a different molecule that is patented. Or like some drugs that are exactly the same as cannabis or opium, but just a little different molecule. Same effects but its synthetic and patented, so they own it. Its why you can get arrested for "unlawful possession". But in the future that unlawful possession can be about anything in your house that you cant prove to have bought. Sorry for the long message. Peace!
