Bringing religion into ceremony was a way to protect the San Pedro from being so taboo. It was even renamed from Huachuca to San Pedro to give it a religious twist. Before Christ was brought into the ceremony the participants were sentenced to death if they were caught using the plant, the conquistadors saw it as devil worship. The shamans adapted and used crosses in the ceremony to protect them from prosecution without it the old traditions would have completely been lost and would likely be illegal today. I think it was a very wise adaptation.

LuckyWizard52 That may have been a good trick in the past, but now, we don't need to bring the false religions into this. Wachuma is a manifestation of the Sun. Our Mother Earth and Father Sun does not need any help from the Fake Religions.

LuckyWizard52 bingo sounds like the same with Santo Daime religion using Ayahuasca. Keep it roots keep it shamanic. At the end of the day all religion praise the same thing the sun ☀️ its sad that they just don’t know. Religion = legion of RE ☀️ but it got twisted by the deceptive nature of Kali Yuga. Perhaps we are in the transition phase of the new Age of Aquarius and dwapara Yuga ascending. Awakening !

It’s him teaching. It’s also very important that people have a physical connection to what they’re doing. It’s said to be best when you handle these psychedelics yourself or have some hand in it. In fact, you’re supposed to truly go and ask permission before you go and cut a piece you yourself will ingest, if you can’t, you’re still a supposed to handle it at some point and show it real respect. San Pedro must be prepared a specific way (well..typically) and I’ve heard that when you specifically treat it with kindness and respect during preparation, it will apparently treat you kindly.

I wonder why he leaves the white middle part of the cactus in as he makes the tea? I’ve prepared a San Pedro cacti a few years ago to try mescaline and from what I had researched online, you want to remove the bitter outer skin (it’s like a waxy translucent skin around the spines and covers the dark green flesh), as well as the inner white part since it doesn’t contain any of the psychoactive alkaloids and can contribute to more of the nausea. I would then just finely chop the green flesh and let it dry out for a few days before putting them into huge pill capsules so I didn’t have to deal with the bitterness (trust me, even without the outer skin and inner white flesh, the green flesh was still SUPER bitter). If I remember correctly, a 12’ cacti made about 12-15 large capsules and was enough for one really strong trip (longest trip I had ever had as well out of all of the psychedelics I used to experiment with: about 16-20 hours). If I had to guess, they include it in the tea because the nausea and purging/vomiting is probably part of the ritual?

A truely spiritual ethnogen and could change humanity in a drastic turn towards harmony and love. It revitalizes the primal connection man has with the wild. The compression of an elaborate maze of interconnected mocules forming a matrix trapped in a dimension called earth! The mystical medicine is an elaborate tool to see the fabric of existence, even if just for a glimpse

You can order San Pedro powder online. About 80-100mg would be solid if you have psychedelic experience. Still pretty mild though. 200 and you be off
