I have only had good memories with Dragon air. Though they were under Cathay but servicewise has been outperformed Cathay almost on everything.

True, the municipality of Chongqing has 30 million people. But that statement can give the false impression that it's a single built-up urban agglomeration with that population. it's not. Chongqing municipality has the status of a province, and it has a huge area, just a little smaller than Austria and about the same size as South Carolina. In that area there are dozens of different detached cities and towns, and hundreds of villages, as well as many rural and wilderness areas. Chongqing's actual urban metropolitan area has "only" some 18 million people - which is, of course, an insane lot of people already and about the same as Greater Los Angeles (including Orange County and the Imperial Valley).

Chongquing is also the largest most populated city in China after Bejing and Shanghai. Chengdu, Wuhan, and Zhengzhou are very close next on the list after Chomgquing

@@alvexok5523, there is no "u" in "Chongqing". In the pinyin Romanization system, "q" represents a sound similar to English "ch" (but slightly weaker than the initial "ch" in the city name). But you're right, even considering just the core urbanized area, Chongqing is the third largest Chinese city. True that it's hard to delimit that for Guangzhou, as it's part of the immense Pearl River Delta metropolitan area, which also includes Foshan, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, and many other very large almost contiguous cities, by some definitions has twice the population of Tokyo (over 60 million people!), and therefore would be the world's largest metropolitan area by far.

I've only flown on Cathay Dragon twice I believe. A round trip from Haikou to Hong Kong with my father for one of his business trips (although we flew economy). Normally we would fly into Shenzhen and then cross over the land border because at the time Hong Kong Airlines was the only airline that operated a nonstop flight to Hong Kong. A once a day flight that usually soared in price due to no other options being available. But then Cathay Dragon changed all that. At the time it was still Dragon Air and by far the best "regional" flight I've ever taken into Hong Kong.

For Subscribers, can you please include your comments on the quality of the food that you eat (whether in the lounge, at the airport, on-board or anywhere else consumed)? Very tasty? Average? Not acceptable? etc. Some of us may actually make our airline / flight choices based on food served and food quality, all other things being somewhat equal. Also, can you provide information on exactly when your trip was taken? Some flights / destinations / routings may be seasonal and not available when viewers watch your videos. It would be helpful to determine if a trip can or cannot be flown based on when the trip takes place. And yes, I do acknowledge that airlines can make changes to their flight schedules at any time. Thanks in advance for the considerations.
