Very interesting flight review. Helsinki seems to be a very good airport, not to small and a enough light in the halls. The Lounge is fantastic, only the bar chairs seems not be as comfy. What a great onboard service and a nice meal ... I started to get hungry. I like the way you film and edit your reports/reviews.

Thanks for your kind words AV! The Finnair Business lounge was fantastic but the food choice was far too limited, hopefully they are aware of that themselves and do something about it! The bar chairs were just fine but one must consider that we were sitting with a few glasses of sparkling wine and a stunning view of the tarmac, that could get in the way of our judgement... ;-) We enjoyed the meal onboard and alll-in-all we can recommend the Finnair short-haul Business Class experience, now we hope that we will have the chance ti review the Finnair long-haul Business Class product, preferably onboard one of the brand new Airbus A350´s! Thanks for the high quality and detailed video! So you chose to sit next each other, just married perhaps? ;) The middle seat is always blocked in AY Business Class on small Airbuses so you actually got all the 3 seats for you two only. Oh they don't have menus to CPH, they did have when I flew BRU-HEL in Biz last time. Yes the Schengen lounge often has limited food choices, it's better in the non-Schengen lounge. That black ATR in CPH looked great!

HeHe, yes we still don´t mind sitting next to each other ;-) We are aware that the middle seat is always free, that is the general practice on most short-haul airlines nowadays as there are no special "Business" seats. Yes very strange that there was no menu, there were no snacks with the drinks either (on the way up we got them), we were also not offered Champagne before taxiing (again on the way to Helsinki we were). Guess that depends on the crew, but the Business product should be the same for all :-D Thanks for sharing your experience and opinions :-D

@@jjwashington3872 Hi, I highly recommend Finnair's daily widebody (A350) service on the HEL-LHR route, nice Business product with a flat bed seat. The flight numbers: AY1331 HEL-LHR (07:50AM) and AY1332 LHR-HEL (10:20AM). Daily service.

Another great Maxi and Maro review....I must agree wholeheartedly the catering in the Business Lounge left a lot to be desired...!! The choice of Trout and Cabbage on the in Flight Meal was one that i never expected to see.....Not for me...i would have starved on the Flight..ha ha...Looks a superb way to travel overall...Glad You enjoyed the experience...Best regards.....Steve.-:)

Thanks so much Steve, we did have a fantastic Finnair Business Class experience but the catering in the Finnair Business Class Lounge should be looked into (there is far too little choice). The Fish/Cabbage was actually very good but I don´t recall there being any choices... if one does not like fish (I may be mistaken). But what Maro and I both "laughed" about and noted was the serving of Chili con carne in the Business Class Lounge and then cabbage onboard the aircraft... we wondered how this makes the stomach work at 10000 meters, these two veggies do have a reputation for "gas". Other than that we can only recommend a short-haul business class flight with Finnair! Thanks for watching and for your nice comment :-D

The short-haul Business Class was fantastic and so was the Finnair Business Class Lounge, but the lounge should look into providing a larger selection of snaxk/meals to their guests. Apart from that we were pleased with the experience and can easily recommend the Finnair Short-haul Business Class product to passengers who want that extra bit of service. We are looking forward to getting the chance to try the Finnair Long-haul Business product... ;-)

The Finnair short-haul Business Class product is not bad at all! The only criticism we had was the lack of snack and food choices in the Helsinki Airport Finnair Lounge (no problem with the beverages), hopefully they will do something about that! Otherwise we can only recommend a Business Flight (short Haul) with this airline. Thanks for watching and commenting!

The Finnair Short haul Business Class experience was fantastic however they should look into providing a larger selection of snacks and meals in their Helsinki Business Class Lounge (The beverage selection is fine and the lounge is beautiful). Apart from that the Priority Check-in, Priority Security, Priority Boarding and leg room in the Business Class Cabin was something we could get very used to also. Very excellent video Maxi and Maro. Nice to see the narration along with the subtitle. The biz class seats are same as eco class seats. Lounge the foods need to be improving. Great loud engine sound on takeoff. One thing the Danish language is missing lol. I wish I can make long video but my movie program sometime crashing while creating a full flight video. Food and dessert look saap. The Thai King had passed away last week ago in Thai. Long live the king! You and her fav place in Koh Samui. -Paul

We really enjoyed the experience but as you also noted the Finnair Helsinki Lounge really does need to do something about increasing the variety of foods/snacks! The lounge is beautiful and the beverage selection both alcoholic/non-alcoholic are good. Yes we saw the news about the Thai King, and our hearts go out to the Thai people for the loss of their very beloved King!

Hi there Henri thanks for your very kind words! We can imagine just how excited you are for your trip to Tenerife, we are always excited before the journey too! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the "Vloggy" kind of tripreport, which was an experiment which we are happy with. More flights have since been filmed in this way and you can expect to see them in the future (we have a large archive of flights ready to be edited, so we cannot say exactly when we will reach the vlog ones). The next TripReport is in the planning stages and we hope to release it before Christmas if all goes according to plan! We try to release one tripreport every two months (even though we have an archive full of flights) as these reports take a long time to edit and subtitle and it is important that the editing process doesn´t just become a routine! Have a safe and enjoyable trip to Tenerife and thanks for watching and commenting!

Agreed with your sentiments entirely. Great review. I was tempted by Qatar airlines but no alcholic drinks .no chance! Finnish air business class short haul .I am not sure. A business class flight with Finnish airways long haul would be very interesting and useful. Any chance?

We have not had the chance to try Finnair Business Long-haul yet, but we enjoyed the short-haul Business experience. Qatar Airways does serve alcoholic drinks as we wrote to you in a previous reply and I (Maxi) have heard that the Qatar Airways Business Class product is very good! They (Qatar Airways and Finnair) are also both Oneworld Member Airlines. Have a good trip which ever one you choose.
