Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha visited a blood donation camp in Agartala on May 07. The All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) had organised the blood donation camp.
During the event, CM Manik Saha said, “We are trying to convey that like there is plasma, RBC, WBC and Platelets in our blood, earlier we used to give whole blood. But as science is developing, now it can be separated. If anybody has issues of RBC, WBC they can separately donate blood. Blood donors can donate blood to four people. There are 12 government blood banks and 2 private blood banks in Tripura.”
