TheHannaKristin Insurgent is the second one, yes. Also, yes. I was just there like "Okay, if someone gives me the DVD as a present then fine, I'll watch it, but otherwise not wasting my money on it." Wait, Tris doesn't die in Allegiant?! Are you kidding?! Another thing that pissed me off is that Tobias is 24 in the films not 18. Although Tris is Divergent, she is still Abnegation raised. She has been taught to only passively flirt with guys. She wouldn't go for a guy 8 years older than herself. And I don't think Tobias would go for an Initiate either, at the age of 24.

They're splitting Allegiant into two movies; Allegiant and Ascendant. So, we don't know what they're going to do in the final part of the franchise. Let's hope they change it up and keep her alive!

(Trigger warning if you haven’t read the books) Okay so I finished all the books in the series and watched the first two movies. I can’t bring myself to watch the third cuz I heard of how different it was and that TRIS DOESNT EVEN DIE AT THE END!!! I could be wrong since again I never watched the movie but allegiant taught us important lessons like grief, Tris finally accepting herself, and her accepting death when her time was up. Tobias learned how to try to mend wounds with his mother and never heard from his father again and I think Hollywood is getting rid of those factors so much and I’m honestly pretty disappointed by that

I agree about the book, but the movies took a different spin, killing Tris just because she died in the book wouldn't be right either, I like that the movie has differences, but because the 2nd movie was different and didn't have Tris on a phyco suicide mission craving death, Alligiant would've made no sense killing her off. I liked it in the book, glad it didn't happen in the movie
