I was deeply moved by this video when it was first posted! I especially relate to these two saints and their discernment of the need for physical and spiritual healing as one, in the Peace of Jesus Christ. Today, a year later, as a Catechumen beginning preparation for the Mystery of Holy Baptism, my priest, Fr. Sebastian, helped me to begin seeking my Patron Saint. In my search, I found Ss. Zenaida and Philonella. My attention was immediately captured! I recalled Fr. Sebastian's advice, which included finding "resonance" with my Patron Saint. I remembered having watched this video, so I searched and found it again. This time, with seeking my Patron Saint, I understood these Holy Sisters' story from a much deeper perception. And, their dedication to the physical and spiritual reality found only as one, in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, resonates in me. In prayer, I believe I have found my Patron Saint, in Saint Zenaida.❤☦️ [Now, I need to know which spelling and pronunciation best reflect her actual name! I see the spellings on the icons...] Glory to God for all things! Thank you!

To Protestants, Christianity is not a religion of the dead, the Saints are alive and are praying for us and performing miracles because they are alive in Christ. If you do not have Saints and simply believe the story ends after Paul wrote the last book, then you don't believe in a living faith but a dead faith. And if you call the Saints dead and pagan idols, just know they're praying for you as Christ taught them. By condemning them you condemn your potential in strengthening your relationship with Christ.

Great apologetics here! Also, if you believe in an everlasting life and heaven which most Protestants do, then you have already admitted that anyone who falls asleep in Christ is still alive, not as we are not, but in an everlasting life which we can’t comprehend until we experience it. SO why wouldn’t you believe that we can speak to them and ask for their intercession, after all wouldn’t they have everlasting life?

@@TrisagionFilmsPodcastsLectures Words cannot describe how precious this message about spiritual and physical healing is for us all. What a blessing. God is so good. Sending you lots of love and prayers from Cyprus 🙏✝️🙏 Adding to this reply, as my r research on these two holy women has led me to two sites that state the Holy women ended up in Kissonegra, Paphos. I'm very excited as I will visit the church as soon as possible. This is what I found: Οι Αγίες Ζηναΐδα και Φιλονίλλα περιόδευαν και ασκούσαν την ιατρική επιτελώντας ταυτόχρονα και ιεραποστολικό έργο. Wherever they ended up on earth matters not. Their lives are filled with such holy actions, teachings, a true holy example of how to live and that is what matters.

@@terry5545 Where is the source for the text you posted. I also live in Cyprus.

@@TrisagionFilmsPodcastsLectures one article was published by Pafos press 2019 and an other by a local guide of kissonerga in Paphos. Apparently there are ruins of an ancient church dedicated to these two holy saints, next to main church of Transfiguration. They celebrate the two saints every year on October 11,as stated in the podcast.

Interesting. It's best to trust the most ancient sources and sources that draw from ancient sources. But perhaps the saints made a great impression in Paphos and a church was dedicated to them.
