It was 100% mean girl behavior. The way she tried to come for your appearance when the topic was mental health? It says a lot about her. A lot of conventionally attractive girls turn their nose up at people they don’t see on their level & get a ego boost from degrading other girls

Totally, I agree that it was unnecessary on Sofia's part to dig at somebody's appearance. That being said, I've been both conventionally attractive and not (weight gain, depression), and while society does treat you better if you're good looking, I've been bullied by "unattractive" girls the most. This isn't everyone's experience, but not every attractive girl is out to degrade or belittle others because of looks. I really think it boils down to the circumstances and people's character themselves

Trisha has gotten sober she's cut off toxic people, shes gotten properly diagnosed. she's now a mother and married to someone who has unconditional love for her. Her priorities have completely shifted. Her worth does not come from her being conventionally attractive. So disappointing to see a fellow woman endorcing this standard on someone who is freaking 35 years old. Its a shame that its still something being used as a "gotcha moment" towards women far past high school. Society will always care what a woman looks like more than it cares about who they are. Like Trisha said theres so many other reasons they could come for her for, her looks are not one of them.

eh, it seems a bit odd to criticise some british people for using lazy american stereotypes, then go on to make so many generalisations about british people and culture. i'm british and i also hate when people make 'americans are dumb and fat lol' jokes. most of us are just ordinary people, we're not piers morgan or the contestants she encountered on big brother. a lot of us don't even have the stereotypical 'british accent' (i have a regional northern accent, i sound nothing like that); even with the stereotypical 'british accent', though, how can you rightly recognise the issues with the way emily blunt portrayed the waitress' accent, then go on to say the 'british accent' sounds presumptuous? it's just the accent someone has if they've grown up in a particular area/around people with that accent. the same applies to 'people need to stop criticising american food portions' but then 'british food is boring and bad'. our food is just our food; if it's not your cup of tea, that's fine, a lot of us like it, but it's not as if there isn't a massive selection of authentic foods associated with other cultures here, too. i'm a really fussy eater, too, so i get it, but as if trisha is trying to blame british food on why there wasn't much variety in her diet during big brother. there are so many videos of her eating plain pasta or nuggets without sauce, i would've thought the simplicity of many british dishes would be perfect for her. 😭 idk, i just wish people were more consistent with this stuff. things can be stressful and rubbish a lot of the time, let's just be nicer to each other.

The fear of passing down your mental illness or neurodivergence to your children is such a real feeling. There is such a real feeling of guilt , fear or protection you want to have. It’s one of the main reasons I personally decided not to have children. Hearing the hurt and fear in her voice while expressing this broke my heart. I think it’s so important how honest Trisha is with her thoughts and feelings when it comes to mental illness. The glamorization of it has caused harm in a lot of way. I really appreciated her stitch because the original video wasn’t fun to see, I understanding joking to cope with things but it has the potential of minimizing. Also as someone who grew up with dry, unruly curly hair… whose hair usually looks like Trisha’s did in the video, I feel you. Sending love

when i saw what sofia said my jaw fully dropped. that was one of the lowest takes she could have had. and trish was SO right for her take and i felt so seen with what she said in her tiktok stitch. i’m glad mental health is becoming more talked about and recognized but tbh i feel like people with real and debilitating mental health issues absolutely hate it and 100% would get rid of it if they could. i have my own mental health struggles and i can promise you if someone offered me a million $ or lose my mental health problems i’d 100% be getting rid of this sh*t. sofia really just showed how much of a mean girl she is like i truly will never understand anyone who comes for someone looks. it’s like okay you really have nothing good to say and you have to be so immature and insecure to use looks against others. trish you’re take was so helpful and we all see sofia as completely in the wrong. thank you for speaking on it ❤

Your response to them saying they love their mental illness is 100000% VALID. As someone who struggle’s majorly (like so bad daily), it was alarming to hear them say that. Everyone has their own stuff and feeling… but there’s never been a moment in my life I’ve LOVED being sick. It has ruined my life and I most definitely do not love my mental illness.

TRISH- as someone who also strait up STRUGGGLES with a bipolar/anger isssues- you were SOOOO in the right to point out that mental health isnt something everyone has to love or should strive to “love”. Im not happy i have it - it brings me NO JOY-my disorder only causes harm to the people around me and it brings me so much sadness in my life. It’s not something I’m ever gonna love. And I don’t need someone else telling me that I should be trying to LOVE IT. Hearing TRISH who struggles just as much as me say it’s OK to not love it and hearing you say you don’t want your mental health disorder- THAT SPOKE TO ME. THAT MEANT A LOTTTT. I’ve never heard someone with such a big platform say that so genuinely. Because I relate to that so hard .

There was absolutely nothing wrong with your tiktok stitch, it was super clear that you were just adding your own personal experience with mental illness. No part of what you said came across as disrespectful or an attack on sofia. The way she responded so abrasively and defensively was so uncalled for.

Trisha i think you need to give yourself a lot more credit because the majority of people would not be able to handle the public attention you deal with along with the scrutiny that comes with it and you’ve been in the game for a long time…..and have totally reinvented yourself! Being an influencer is a weird thing and I can’t imagine how hard that is on your mental health but i think you’re doing amazing by talking it out. I love seeing your growth regardless ❤
