When this song came out, it was one of the best decades. Things aren't the same these days.

This song, has been stuck to my heart, since I heard it in "The Thing Called Love". The whole soundtrack is amazing. That movie is one of my very favorite things... ever.

Me too, River’s singing Until Now, so beautiful 😪 Trisha’s cameo was great, ‘ya’ll are real polite for hardened criminals’ So annoyed we can’t purchase the soundtrack, I love it, and Shes in Love with the Boy

Met my walk away Joe at 18. I didnt want to listen to momma but I'm glad I did. Tried being friends after the relationship ended but that was never enough. Any bump in the road and he was gone.

Loved Trisha in the River Phoenix movie The Thing Called Love, her cameo was great plus I was introduced to her songs, this and Shes In Love With The Boy! Beautiful lady with the voice of an angel ❤️

I was 17 when I got married, everything was great. I got pregnant, in my second trimester, found out he cheated with 5 women, got addicted to meth, and elbowed me in the stomach, I lost my daughter and during losing her a quart of blood, he showed me a video of him molesting his niece and nephew barely 5 months before we got married. He vanished after everyone found out. If you're still reading this, whether you're a man or woman. There is someone out there for you, glue yourself before they break you. You're strong. ❤️

Just married the love I've been searching for since I was a child telling my parents about the life I'd have with this person I knew existed but just crossed paths 3 years ago. I know this woman I married is home. Thank you for sharing that painful story 👊

My walkaway joe got nothing for robbing me. I dont remember but there was two of them. Brothers they were but the one brother came into my life a year before he told me what he done. He came threw and woke up bloody like wtf you dont come threw and he sat 8 months in county and cried his way out. Thats messed up cause who even tells there victim now days. And. I wasnt expected that at all. The gypsy in me attracted him being a monster from the beginning. My instincts get me answers but I can't feel for them cause I dont remember a thing. Traumatized to badly in my life to remember any of those bad days So i thank god everyday for that blessing. Id be crazy id I went through that. So gods here for me...

Not to sound sexist or anything; but there are Walkaway Janes out there, too. I know what I’m talking about because I’m an ordinary country boy who’s been around the broken heart block several times.

Love yourself first. Don’t try to get happiness when you are desperate. It’s not someone’s job to make you happy. Be healthy before you reach out to someone. The good guy deserves a healthy person. Right. God bless you sweetie. Realize your worth and that Jesus loves you.
