My God this brings back memories. No one here will believe me, hell, I wouldn’t believe me either, but it doesn’t change the 4 hours that we shared. Trisha was 18, I had just turned 16 (yes I lied and said I was 19). We met at the tasty freeze on a Saturday night in mid July outside Beaumont Texas. Long before she was the huge star ⭐️ she turned out to be. The kisses we shared will be with me forever. Just kisses. On those swings behind that tasty freeze. You promised to write me back if I wrote you, I knew it was a lie and it still doesn’t bother me. I haven’t crossed your mind once since then, but you cross mine from time to time. One faded picture that I keep tucked away is the only proof that I have. Us sitting side by side in those swings, your hand in mine. Should I post the pic? Should I ask for that kind of spot light? Would anyone even care? Probably not. Trish, you will remain in my heart forever.
