This song holds a true meaning, So many times we are with someone else and hoping we will get over our true love, but we make the mistake of trying to make that someone else our rebound. Why cant we just say I want to work it out....Its just our foolish pride.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Lari in Nashville in 1993, having lunch with her and she took me to a place where her band was rehearsing. We sang "golden rings" together. I wished cell phones had been around then :( I would love to have that memory on film but it's in my heart. Sing with the angels Lari b/c you were one (I hate the word "were")

Yea unfortunately cancer took another great country singer much too young. Then we lost Mr Daryl Singletary as well. Another great talent I grew up heain in the radio back in the 90's. The 90's gave us some of the most amazing music ever in country music. I think they was giving us a bunch of great singers and music because they new after the 90's they was gonna real country music with just a couple exceptions. Jamey Johnson and Chris Stapleton. The rest might as well move to Los Angeles and pedal their crappy music out there to those yuppie liberal snowflakes. They probably live the crap Nashville is trying to feed these days. I'll just sit over here and starve while using up my reserves of the great music I grew up on.
