It requires a lot of mental strength to catch up from a large gap of points in table tennis, more so when you're under the potential overwhelming pressure of a world championship so credit to the French Tristan Flore who managed to do that. That talented player is still recovering from an injury that prevented him from playing in competition for about a year and I'm subsequently dazzled by his ability to win that match against the odds when the talented Hugo Calderano was leading by a broad margin. Some unforced errors from both sides but I think they have a nice backhand, especially from Tristan Flore who can pull off 5 to 6 backhands in a row from mid-distance a la Wang Hao. Calderano is consistently playing at a very high level and he can become a player to consider in the future if he keeps that improvement pace.
