Ovtcharov played defensively on the beginning , kinda weird

Ovtcharov was so lucky,especially in the first game. But in table tennis not always the strongest wins.

Ovtcharov missed a lot of easy shots. He missed many smashes while Mitsutani was only defending from far behind the table. You can't expect someone to win the point when he's defending from five meters behind the table... Mitsutani's shots actually lack in terms of power. His topspins are too easy to counter while Ovtcharov's are not. Mitsutani is just really good at defending, which is making many opponents nervous, because they lose points they actually should never lose, because they fail to hit the smashes. And then they are getting insecure. The same happened to Dimitrij. Dimitrij is just so much better in almost every aspect. The only thing Mitsutani is probably better at is playing from far behind the table.
