Brother this is an amazing guide! The level of detail in the interactions you described were what really earned the like imo. For example the moment about anticipating hwei fear, and clicking in the opposite direction after landing, and describing hidden advantages like the average camera position of the enemy laner when on the ledge to name a few. trying to learn mid and I've had a lot of fun playing tristana. This is a really good in-depth and informative guide! I was wondering what scenarios you'd look at getting cull or what kind of defensive items you can buy when you're getting shat on. Looking forward to more content from you :D

pretty much never buy cull first item, dorans blade is just too gold efficient since the start season. 14 if u are getting shat on buy 1 magic mantle or 1 cloth armour on first/second base and just dont upgrade it into anything. dont buy defensive boots if you are already behind its too much gold investment, go 1 cloth/mantle into rushing kraken slayer to stay relevant

I'll make a tristana video after the patch once I test and figure it out for myself! HoB is nerfed for ranged, lethal is removed so... Between PTA and fleet. Conqueror is terrible, stacks way too slowly.

Hey man thank you so much for the guide has been very beneficial for me. I have one question, is A move a setting you have to turn on. When I’m pressing A it is showing my auto range but I’m having to right click onto the enemy to auto attack them. I’m trying to kite better so I want to make sure I have the right settings on

I have to press A to show the indicator and then immediately LEFT click to do the attack move, so its actually two buttons that you have to press for it. A + left click the setting is located in: options > hotkeys > player attack move

super easy, you can always buffer her W flick with your W, jump on her head and kill her! if taliyah plays safe then its a neutral lane and you both scale, once she finishes seraphs its harder to kill her

Could you please make a match up guide for Tristana mid? I'm trying to learn mid as an adc main and she's been a more comfortable pick for me but I sometimes find myself losing to some picks that are listed as "ez wins" on your tierlist so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. Would love a video that just has all the match ups, what runes you'd recommend against them (optional) and how to play the lane + if they can face you in a side lane later, how you should approach that.

Will definitely consider that for the future! For now though we have to wait for 14.10 to arrive, Tristana itemization could become completely different and your early item components will change the dynamics of every matchup.

What do you mean by "Let the waves meet in the middle and don't break the formation", it seems like you're intentionally letting a minion hit you. Are you dragging it out on purpose?

sry I didnt see this comment before, yep you need to wait for the first 6 creeps to lineup properly ( 3 ranged standing side by side and 3 ranged standing side by side ), then as soon as they are in the correct formation you attack one of the ranged creeps > draw aggro > walk backwards+diagonal to drop aggro > now all 6 of the enemy creeps will focus fire one of your minions and make them die one by one

as a new tristana mid follower, i’m gonna add pantheon to ff or 15 matchups. If the yasuo is good, you should never win but i’ve actually end up winning this lane in pisslow in emerald but I had to deal with a pantheon who lane swapped with his asol mid everytime i went into lane and i could not dominate as much as i wanted despite winning the game

panth is pretty easy just dont jump on him he cant jump on you, W buffers his stun always and theres also a chance u interrupt him with ult during W animation which completely cancels his stun. If u manage to interrupt his w during cast you can jump forward

I think hail of blades has its uses, for instance vs Hwei - its really good in that matchup. In general I think you'll be more consistently playing tempo/fleet + tp rather than ignite + HoB. It has nothing to do with rank imo
