Its not like that. For an example , if they add to character some specific mechanic that person want to have specifically and then after he uses limited resource to get that character ( or just a lot of investment) , devs remove this specific mechanic. In other words most of people that are angry wanted cookie because they saw dat cookie on the menu, and when they finally brote that plate to person , there is no cookie anymore. Person understands that there are other good things like nachos, cakes and etc. , but he specifically wanted that cookie. Its really sucks if you think about it.

I spent a max selector on Mort in preparation for the balance patch, this doesn't change my opinion that that was the right choice. Worst case they don't buff him at all and I'm out a selector...that was free...life goes on.

He doesn`t have 85% of countering with Elbris/Counter set, the chance doesn`t add up, he has 3 different chances each with their own proc chance.

it doesnt stack no, but even tho the chances overlap it still reaches a crazy high percentage to counter an AOE: (0.8^7) * 0.7 = the chance to not counter (missing passive & elbris=0.8^7 & missing counter set is 0.7). This equals 0.14680064, meaning the chance to counter is even more than 85%. Though I must say I'm not confident his passive does proc for himself as well, which would still mean a chance to counter of 1 - 0.1835008 meaning a ~82% chance to counter. Sorry for spamming XD

It is a big difference but even without it, his buff is great. Skill null is so much better than barrier, unless that barrier is like 50% lol If for example AoL only gave a 15% barrier instead of Skill null she would be much much worse

I can live without the skill null personally but I'm not so sure about other people. Also, his barrier is going to scale off of HP anyway and his kit revolves around being the highest HP hero so I would expect his barrier to be pretty chunky

@@ditokelio7860 I was thinking that barrier would be better because in lots of situations, units like candy s1 > d2 can dual attack with a belian, or ayufine, and skill null is just going to get stripped anyway. Of course, skill null has the benefit of dealing with lermia after she s2's when mort counters, but overall if you play your cards right, lermia won't be a big issue especially since ML ily exists.

Of course there are benefits to a barrier but its not much different to just adding more hp or healing, neither of those are scary to me. A BBK on low hp gets skill null, thats scary. Only thing I’m mad about is smilegate is making precedent of making changes and pulling them back before we can test them. Like yes they have fine print that says changes are subject to anytime but, Clearly smilegate doesn’t test their units prior to announcing them. this issue wouldn’t even be a thing if they did. Nobody cares about the skill null change more about them announcing changes and changing them before we can try it. I hope we don’t have more pflan situations. But asking for compensation is batshit insane tho
