State Farm has the simple conversation. It helps us bring up if they have a spouse, children, mortgage or vehicle loan etc. and we can recommend a life insurance policy

In other words, try not to sound like you're coming out and trying to sell someone life insurance. Try to shift the conversation to something life insurance related and start the conversation.
