Tristram’s story: Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Tristram was around 18 months old when his parents noticed that he was not meeting his physical milestones. Activities like walking at the same pace as others became challenging, and he began to stumble and fall over. He became progressively weaker over time and began using a wheelchair at the age of three. It was not until he was seven years old when he was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
