Amelia O’hare is a successful urban planner who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). August is SMA Awareness month. Amelia's story shows us that there are social and physical barriers due to SMA and other disabilities, but that there are ways to make the community more inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

People with sma don’t have the strength to drive safely. Sma is a muscle wasting condition. The motor neurons are dying which cause the muscles to atrophy.

Hi! You're brave and this is the best way to live for all human beeings! I honorate it great that you manage your day, making sports and having a good job! What l donot understand is that you don't try to drive a car on your own!?!? l've seen people in America and Germany who can do / move a lot less than you! And they're driving a car on the=r own! It might get happening!!! Or: Is it because you don't have the right car? Can't you make an apell, a croudfounding or so, to get the money? I whished so hard for you! But l don't know your age and if you're old enough to drive a car. I beg you pardon for my question! I'm handicapped with 16 deseases and l learned for 4 years after my horrible op and now l can drive short ways and that makes me happy and self - controlled! Whish this for you so bad! Be blessed!
