The swings are insane and being properly rolled for the games Tom is playing is next to impossible without staking. Even the best players experience huge downswings and have likely gone broke or near broke at least once, if not many times throughout their career

Chance of flush remains the same as the cards are lowered by suit proportionally.... the reason a flush is promoted is instead because the chances of a FH or st8 become higher
