I think these girls were good for sixth grade! When I first started volleyball I absolutely sucked but as time progresses you get a lot better. A little more practice for them and they will be stars

I'm in 6th grade and I just started playing volleyball. I feel like it's hard at first but I think I've progressed a lot and now I can actually do a decent spike! (my spikes used to be trash) :D I will continue playing and enjoying volleyball!!!

This video was actually really helpful to me because after one week i will be going to my 1st volleyball competition and this is the same way our coach has taught us( like the way of serve and underarm)..this video has motivated me and has given an idea of gow the competition is going to be for me. They're only in sixth grade! When I was in 7 grade and I didn't learn to overhand, maybe because underhand is better for beginners. I understand but they shouldn't attack. My coach didn't let me

So overall the game was entertaining but I got to say I’m sad I didn’t see many over hand serves because when I was their age I could serve overhand. I do think they need more bump set hits because it was mainly just passes but overall good job girls!

Well you usually learn overhand your second or third year it is likely their first or second. I am in sixth grade, my second year, and right now we do not use overhand but practice it and a trying to get it in. Plus, it is almost the end of our season

I’m going into sixth grade and I play for a club team but I’m gonna also try out for my school and they’re actually not bad considering the amount of time they had to learn but overall there are a lot of improvements to be made compared to a club team around that age for upcoming sixth graders some things I can correct so that you can add even more to your is to communicate mine , I go , short, deep over, I set , set 4 , set 3 . Definitely go for some more sets and hits. Practice your serves whether it’s over or under hand but it’s good to get ahead and learn overhand young before it’s a requirement so that you won’t struggle in the future . Be supportive of your teammates. That’s all I rlly have to say but most importantly HAVE FUN!,! Edit- also go for the ball if nobody else is even if it’s deep TRY TO GET TO THAT BALL! And finally… I think at least practice your passing setting and hitting accuracy because one thing I noticed is that a lot of passes just went out of control

My advice to Culver: Don’t force the girls to overhand. It’s better to do underhand and get it over than an overhand that doesn’t.

I play club and am ab this age. I think they are doing well, but maybe need a bit more time to master a 3 contact approach to smooth it out. also, they should prob work overhand bc its really important but a nice job anyways

I am in eighth grade this year 11 playing volleyball since fourth grade and I hope to make the varsity team next year as a freshman in high school however I’ve always been on the beach team but my team has really stepped up their game this year and we’re actually really good and we were in first place at the beginning of our season an hour in like fifth place because this one team is now undefeated but yeah

I watched another Culver’ against triton video and I noticed they all did over hand but some girls weren’t able to get them over the net , same here . Underhand is just as good if overhand isn’t possible. If culver keeps playing like this I’m leaving with the impression of not hustling enough
