Great video, admitting i watched them in wrong order though. The fact that you're running a shop that still services these bikes is great as IMO the 1960's to 1980's era british bikes were the most beautiful & best handleing bikes around. I especially love truimphs ever since I was a kid & my parents have told me the 1st word I ever said was "motorcyle". the next video shows the great work you did on this bike which runs a bit more smoothly than I thought you could get it to. Unfortunately here in the US we rarely see truimphs below 500cc unless they are Tiger Cubs & occaisonly @ shows/meets someone will have a restored BSA 441 victor. We do have 1 local shop here that specializes on old british bikes & they do good work but half the bikes have become choppers & bobbers & though I like them I preffer them original. Keep up the great work & I wish you many years of safe & fun riding.

A friend of mine had a T90 and I thought it looked great. I had a 3TA but it looked just like a T90 except for the distributor. It was fantastic for weaving through heavy traffic and would trundle along at 20mph in top gear of you wanted it to. 80+ mpg and really easy handling plus a bizarre bit of temperament from time to time, what's not to love?

Now that is a proper bike! (no bias because I have one)

Just curious here...how does this 350 Triumph Tiger fare against a contemporary Bullet 350?
@paulhenshaw45146 жыл бұрын
It is probably a good bit quicker, but a lot more revvy than a Bullet and lacking the low down pulling power.

Paul Henshaw i see. Guess a shorter stroke length is the reason.

You will have the convienance of alot of inexpensive spare parts with the bullet though as well as a much lower initial purchase price. & the option of making it a 500 easily. Regardless of the RE's quirks they are still great bikes & I've seen many owners of fast, plastic enshrouded, modern japanese bikes as well as HD owners looking longingly @ every RE they see as they are simply some of the most beautiful bikes made today. That said I understand why the old triumph 350's are still so coveted today, though I'd seriously consider doing such sacreligious things as putting a Mikuni carb on it & a 2 into 1 exhaust as well as an oil cooler,lol. wishing you many years of safe & fun riding.
