@@AdamSVT just a qk FYI, the 06-12 uses 1 h7 and 1 h11 light. Housing doesn't fit flush either. Had to buy some aluminum at Lowe's to make a spacer due to clearance issues.

The first upgrade I made to my 675R was the LED Headlights upgrade. Throws so much more light and with better color temperature for seeing things and making them stand out on the road. You are also brighter and when positioned correctly, you don't blind the people coming towards you so it's a win for everyone.

READ ME I just thought Id add this post for information and I dont mean to offend anyone, least of all dafobra. These headlights have a design flaw, which affects installation if your bulb is secured in place with a wire clip, like it is on the Triumph Daytona. If I can explain further, the stock H7 bulb has a recess at the back of the bulb which the 'clip' locates into in order to secure it in place. The 'base adaptor' does not have this recess and as a result the clip, when it first touches the base adaptor, sits about 5mm further away from its retaining hook, than it does with a stock bulb. This means that you first of all have to apply alot more pressure on the clip in order to get it to 'hook' in place and secondly, it distorts the clip, bending it towards the centre of the bulb which then fouls the fan on the LED bulb preventing it from locating into the base adaptor. Im not quite sure how it has been made to fit on the Daytona, perhaps some brute force :-) but Im not happy to stress my headlight unit. Auxbeam acknowledge this design flaw, its just a shame the video didnt explain this, however I dont want to critise someone for taking the effort to make a video. Many thanks

Wow so sorry but thank you for pointing this out. The Daytona in this video was a 2013 if it matters. It wasn’t super easy to get the clip on but I managed to get it on the adapter and then put the bulb into the adapter while it was in the headlight assembly.

FYI, as of 2024 Sealight Scoparc S2 are a direct replacement LED bulb that requires no external ballast or fan, it is exactly that same as replacing a regular bulb.

Hey, i hope you see this. I just got a 2014 Daytona and my question is about the dual light setup. My low beam is on 1 headlight, and high beam is on the other. In this video it is not clear if low beam is on both headlights with switchable high beam.

Watched this and brought them for my Brought these for my UK model 2012 675SE Sulphur Yellow put the left hand one H7 bulb in all working fine went to put cover on and its about 15mm from being able to screw it back on. So went to put right hand one in and found its a different bulb it was a H9. Gonna have to get someone to 3d print me new covers. A easy upgrade made hard.

Having trouble getting the light in once I put the clip back on. I separated the base adapter and put the metal clip over that first but I can’t get the light in far enough to twist and lock. The fan part gets in the way. You didn’t do anything to your clip?

I had the same problem. My man makes it look so easy when really it isn’t. One fake ass video for sure… with some massaging I managed to get it to fit

I think that bulb is part of an assembly.. might be all integrated as opposed to something like a replaceable bulb that was in my Street Triple (which I believe was a 194)

I have a 2010 Triumph Daytona, aren't the low and high beam bulbs different? I believe low beam is H7 and High beam is H9/H11? Do I have to buy two kits to be able to make this work?

I saw how you put the the housing peace in first then the bulb in. But on my 2017 the wire clip wouldn't go on right and it hits the rear end of the bulb to where I wasnt able to put it in

Hi dafobra, thanks for the video, very informative. Can I check something with you, my base adaptor which came with the auxbeams is a different design than the stock bulb. The stock bulb has a recess which the retaining clips fits into to hold the bulb in place. The base adaptor doesn’t have this recess which means the clip has to be pressed very hard to get it to locate and it actually deforms the shape of the clip which stops the LED from seating in the adaptor. Did you have this problem or maybe your base adaptor has this recess? Mine is an H7 bulb, just to confirm. Thanks for any advice? John

as is.. no.. the H7 is a single filament bulb.. but.. maybe you can do like I did with my CBR. It's in my video library.. a kit from Tripage changed the wiring and the bulbs to work as dual high/low like I have on my Street Triple. Perhaps you can use Street Triple or Speed Triple wiring to change your over to dual high/lows?

Not sure if it's the mirrors or bulbs but the LED bulbs in my 675 are horrible. Horrible projection. Went back to stock bulbs. Couldn't see probably 20 feet in front of me.

@@AdamSVT Yeah...I've heard and seen great things about them. I bought mine used and the guy had LEDs in it. There was a V shaped pattern of light that only went out in front of me maybe 20 feet. It went ahead of me on right and left a little further but not much. Are there retaining clips on your bulbs? Mine did not have them nor does the parts diagram show them. thinking they might not have been setting in fixture right?

@@supermansucks7345 yuuuup found out the hard way yesterday that they dont fit the 2012 either hahaha. For anyone that might read this in the future, the 11/12 are H9 headlights. Can't vouch for the earlier Daytonas. Either way, I dont think LED is the best route when it comes to headlights. I'm sticking with halogens

No,,, that;s going to take a wiring change similar to what I did with my past bike a 2007 CBR600RR.. check for the video in my library.. but that used a modified harness I bought from the manufacturer.. tripageLED

I believe they were, but the 06 Daytona is different from the 13 Daytona. No check engine light.. the toughest thing was closing the housing up with the end cap, but we did it to fit.

I'll tell you right now you must be getting paid or free product to post this video. Because in no way, shape, or form do these lights fit in a 2014 Daytona 675r and utilize the oem retaining clip. You're video showed you installing the sleeve, installing the clips than putting the light into the housing by twisting into into place. The clip does not allow this as it hits the base of the fan shroud on the back of the light preventing proper seating of the bulb to the base before turning

I don't know if you have to.. you might be able to get it in there.. but putting the adapter in the headlight housing is much much easier..
