Thanks Henry, quite a job there. I've had similar issues when filming, running out of space etc. I don't use my phone for video, hate those things as well. Looking forward to seeing more. Don't concern yourself with not videoing everything, seeing it come off in stages with the way it looks now with issues is great. No doubt it will be spanking later on! Appreciate you sharing the work on this 7.

Hi Chris, I reckon it is about getting the right mixture of showing and just updating (I've had requests for me timelapse) and I know I'll never get it right. I think if I could just capture sorting the issues would be great, but I always seem to miss that bit.

Hi are you planning on restoring the white TR7 or is it a donor car

Hi Mark, I originally bought is unseen as a donor car but when I saw it I realised it was in better condition than the drop head. I try and visit my parents for a week every other month so my dad and I are doing it together. It gets confusing, I know

The subframes do rust badly Henry. I had to fit a new one to mine at 15 years old. I did everything to rustproof the new one and it is still OK after 25 years, so hoping I won't have to do that job again!

It always surprises me when parts of this car are worse than the soft top I'm also doing. The subframe was ok on that so this suprised me

@@HenrysGarage It could well have been changed on the soft top. New ones were readily available not too long ago and it is a fairly straightforward job to swap.

@@anthonygowland8363 LOL. Interior is in good shape. Carpets not looking great but the seats look good, as does the dash and parcel shelf.

Hi Henry, the subframe on my TR7 was very rusted, I think it was parked in a dirtpile...lots of cutting and welding to get it back in shape. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoiWaGWFj5VpsJY

Thanks Lorne, I remember. It's just that my dad doesn't own a welder and I didn't bring one up. I will have to at some point, but was hoping to sort and reinstall the engine before tackling that
