It’s a fantastic little, fun car. We have a TR6 engine and the torque, throttle response and handling on A and B roads is fantastic. Great for a tour

A good review that one. 1 thing to bear in mind though, the front suspension doesn't have grease nipples, they are there for oiling, I can't remember what grade of oil but that's what you should be pumping in to them. Back in the 90s when I had a mk2 I managed to track down an oil gun, similar to.a grease gun but with a bit better seals so it doesn't all leak out over your hands! At the time I was the only owner in my local TSSC group who had one so it used to circulate round the group. I miss that lovely old car, Jasmine yellow she was, I should have kept her 😁

I found one back in 2006 for 500$ while I was delivering pizza. It was a white 1969 GT6 in non running but good shape. I sold some stuff and got the money to go get it the next day... and when I came to buy it, all of the sudden he wanted 1,500$ and he no longer had the title! I got MAD! So I decided to go for a drive and blow off some steam... and what pulls up next to me at the gas station... A White 1969 GT6, Just Like The One I was Teased With! That was the day I realized that I wasn't just unlucky, I was Cursed!

I always wanted one but now I am 79 and on SS so just how the hell an I get one ? Money talks , BS walks . I got he BS just no money , not fair . However the new GT6 is out but at 70K and the more powerful is 60 not fair, t those prices I might get a Viper .

I do wish people would stop comparing it to an e--type. These are excellent little sports cars which you wear (like a tight fitting glove). E-types are ugly old mens cars and over priced junk. Sorry also, gt 6 s are not old blokes cars
