Love your videos man! I am not a huge fan of the British bikes, BUT I like the way you present your content, and seeing you doing what your interested in is inspiring. Even if I don't love the particular bike. Like that's just me, don't change what you're doing because I like watching you do you

Awesome! Thanks for the support. What bike should I build next? I was thinking maybe a Sportster flat tracker or a classic supermoto.

You did a good job modifying your seat bracket. I have used those ebay brackets in the past and was not impressed at all. I swapped mine out with one from tc bros that features bronze bushings inside of the bolt hole that the seat pivots on. It helps to eliminate all the slop that those ebay brackets have. Nice looking build so far.

Thanks! I'm really happy with it so far. Especially because it's so different than the bikes I have built before.

Did u ever think of running the springs the opposite way, with the loop under the seat?
@davidlawrence23167 жыл бұрын
Moto 743 I agree, I think the torsion springs should be oppo, would be a cleaner look with the spring further under the seat. what ff you think @classicoctane?

I agree with this.

I put it on that way to see how it looked and wasn't crazy about it. It limits the movement of the spring when the coil is in the way. I will try it again now that I have the front mount done and see how it works. Also thought about designing a cantilever style setup.

Classic Octane , yeah I was worried about the limited compression of the spring. looking at it without a rider it doesn't seem like you would get that much compression either way though.

Weld a spacer on top of the bottom mount with a slot to keep spring straight

That's a great idea, I will look into that for sure.

Would love to see what you'd do with a vintage BMW airhead

I have had my eye on one of those. Just need to find a good enough deal on one.
