Triumph was one of my faves growing up. I met Rik Emmitt in like 86. I won front row seats and back stage passes. He was very cool to this 80s kid. I play guitar and he took the time to talk to me and ask ME about my playing and what I LIKED....SUCH A COOL, HUMBLE GUY!!!

yeah Birdman, the reord industry almost fucked up QUEEN they made Freddie Mercury think he was the shit which he was but his solo album flopped also, leave it to the genius companies to fuck it all up for us, dumb bastards , they fucked us out of triumph, damn near out of QUEEN , but Mercury realized they had a magic together which they did like triumph but somehow triumph just couldn't seem to get it back together again, im so fucking glad QUEEN did , can you imagine the world without the QUEEN hits , oh fuck, shoot me now, lol, record companies can fuck things up fast, they think they know it all, what they don't understand that life like music keeps moving in any fucking direction it wishes to go, why cant they get that through there simple fucking heads, theres no magic formula for a top number 1 single hit or album, these bands do what they do like a fucking sun rise , lets see them try an manipulate that , pack up the sun and take it to vegas you dumb fucking clowns (record co) just like in the queen movie that guy said he owned the rights to queen and was there manager and was telling them what was what, yeah he was so fucking smart wasn't he , stupid bastard could have been a ga zillionaire had he stayed on board with Queen , I bet he felt so fucking stupid after that, he had too, if anyone just lost millions an millions of dollars how would it make you feel ? me personally , ? id feel like shit and want to vomit ,lol, take care BirdMan,have a great day my man. Will 5-31-20 W.H.W. working on my 2nd album as we speak, 1st one sold 3500 copies off 2 D.A.T,s here in Baltimore,MD. cover band band gone writing our own songs , they Loved it, I hope the next one drops like a hydrogen bomb ,lol, the whole band has been at it over 25 yrs , though we don't make the kind of money these bigger bands are making, im hoping number 2 hits the top 100 rock singles chart, that would be prayers answered , ROCK AN ROLL BirdMan.

Fight the Good Fight is one hell of a tune, also, with amazing lyrics and a blistering guitar solo. Rik's voice is just terrific. I'm an 80s teen, and Magic Power was our anthem. This band was amazing, but sadly, they never got 1/8 the recognition and appreciation they deserved.

Thankyou for making that distinction brother, times have changed so much. From calling in a radio show and requesting a song for that special someone, waiting with friends to hear it...Think the term is "Instant Gratification." This has invaded every aspect of civilization now and I for one long for those days again. Earned a Sub Brother, Great Canuck Band, all one needs is a great 3 piece, great musicians, pure vocals, and great lyrics....Triumph checked everyone of those boxes, HOLD THE LIGHTERS HIGH❤🇨🇦😎🇨🇦❤
