I've finally got around to watching the final episode. I've enjoyed the series. In England, 92 per cent of accidents occur within three miles from the riders' homes. That's an old statistic, but all three of my rather nasty ones in London were within three miles. I even rode out to measure the last one: 2.9 miles. Some road train. I bet it takes some stopping. Has the Rocket continued to be 100 per cent reliable? As I said earlier, I am considering one for use in northern Thailand. I have absolutely no need for one, but so what.

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the series. The Rocket continues to be reliable with only one minor issue: because of the hugger and rear fender design, gravel finds its way past and onto the swing arm. Some gets wedged between the exhaust (silencer) and the heat shield and hugger. The only way to clear it and clean it is to take the back wheel off so you can access the fasteners. pita, but not a reflection on the bike's reliability. Highly recommend 👌

I notice you have to adjust your mirror a lot. Hot tip, get some high strength loctite and put a few drops in the ball and wiggle it around. Then it should stop it from moving next ride and beyond. 👍🏼

Hey Ryan, thanks for the tip. I realised after the 11th time my GoPro didn't shut off when I thought I'd found the right button, on the move, wearing a glove, that if I angled the right hand mirror, I could see what I was doing. What you are seeing is me putting the mirror back after using it to make sure the GoPro was started or shut off properly...

Are they the GT handles on the rocket 3 ?
@jl9918252 жыл бұрын
Hi there. No, they are the R bars. The bike is a stock Rocket 3R with no modifications.
