I grew up in this era and all I have to say is that today's concerts will never be as great as they were in the 80s. Long live rock n roll

Went to many concerts in the eighties. The only good concerts today are the bands from this era that are still touring...

Dude, I was 14 in 1981, I used to buy the fatass Los Angeles Times on Sunday *just to look at* the concert promos. I somehow knew it was a special era in music history having all these great bands touring at the same time: Triumph, Zebra, Van Halen, Rush, Ozzy, Genesis, Asia, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, UFO, Scorpions, AC/DC, Reo Speedwagon, Heart, Journey, Queen, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Rainbow, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ratt, etc. That was the concert menu in the early 80's.

Been a fan since 1982. Washed my parents cars and got $5.00 and stole some change out of my brothers room and bought this tape for $8.00 at the mall on Friday night. My first and favorite Triumph album. Real musicians right hear, no protools or auto tune.

My personal thought's are that the band's of the 70's and 80's had something to say. The bands after that kinda lost it's heart. Again, that's my own thought's.

I remember seeing Triumph in St. Louis back in the 80's and they had the most incredible laser show to top off incredibly good music. Say Goodbye is one of those songs that didn't get enough air play, but should have. thanks

A lot of good things came out of Canada, these guys were among them. Good old hard rockin' tune that represents what rock should be.

Great song by a damn good band. These guys really should have gotten more attention/accolades back in the day.... I saw them once in Tampa back in the late '80s great show, thanks for posting the video, it brings back good memories!

The good thing about this song is it wasn't as popular as their usual songs. I can and want to hear it now where not that's not true of other songs of theirs. I just pulled out a cassette of "Rock & Roll Machine", their first album, and have been playing it. Maybe their time has come back around. When I saw them in 1979 the opening act was some guys called AC/DC. Who woulda thought?

+Paul Sawyer For some reason my copy of Rock & Roll Machine is a weird mix of their first two albums. I seem to remember that it was the first release of Triumph's music in the US or an import from another country. I've never really heard the first album in total except for 24 Hours a Day, Blinding Light Show/Moonchild, Street Fighter & the Street Fighter (Reprise). Most of the other albums I also have.

TRIUMPH 'LAY IT ON THE LINE' interesting anagram about the little girl in the TEA PARTY'S video HEAVEN COMING DOWN, my legal wife Elihana Elia, Florida Orange Juice, Juice = Jue, CI , my nickname is CY from Cy Young the left handed pitcher.TOM SAWYER by RUSH is SAWYER NORTH DAKOTA and has to do with Jimmy Page-Rotbert ap Owain Gwynedd , an Abbot King Culdee monk who lived at the Bend of the Missouri. So Sawyer is on an ancient portage trail the Phoenician type people started that the Vikings used later to go from Missouri River to Souris River. They have a pearty good drummer and they have a country named after them called RUSHIA where my Romanian daughter Victoria Corneva lived before she became a rock star with the hit 'STEREO LOVE' she was in Play Boy ce magazine. Eric has her in Tales of Brave Ulysses and she is Victoria Sage - Jack Bruce Harmony Row 1971 Album 'Harmony Row=OR Why Roman.' Hi, I'm the legal Second Christ and half brother of Eric Clapton, NORTH AMERICA = ARM, A NICE THOR = THOR RAM NICEA = A MAN ERIC THOR = A THOR IN CREAM. I am West Thor born at Craik Sask Arm River on the same day RIK was born, a true Second Christ guitarist like the Messiah East Thor, SIR Eric Patrick Clapton, or THOR HAND, not Slow Hand I was a rock drummer singer for years and we did this song . Paul McCartney was my best friend and he fired my son in law Brad in Edmonton. He lived at what is now Regina Beach Sask. Just north off of the shore at Paul's old place the Ark of the Covenant was in a sunken Madog Viking ship. The Elohim recovered it and Madog's Horde which was sunk in other Viking Ships in the banks of the Arm River at the bottom of Last Mountain Lake Sask Canada. Madog is entombed in Madog's hill Pelican Pointe Peninsula. Part of the Book of Revelation was written here in 62AD by Jesus Christ as the Elohim have a base here. So same lake, straight west of Stonehenge is the Big Arm Dog Head -Gates to Heaven, pleased use 2002 google images to view it, it is Rev--22:15-- and the World Court ruled the bible starts and ends at this Dog Head. Eric was Prince Cynwrig ap Owain and lived there in his brother Madog's time. +SunsetBlvd Interesting - I never thought of it that way, for this was sort of what I felt while separating and divorcing my now ex wife, when I took a job in another state, and she refused to move with me, so it was like this - if she wanted to stay married to me, she would have to move with me, and if not, it was over. Next time, it's for better or forget it - for if I want it to be worse, I can do a pretty good job without anyone else's help.
