Triumph Scrambler 400X Road Test Review

I've returned to biking after 25 years thanks to the Scrambler. I loved the looks and didn't want to like the Speed more so just test rode the x and love it. Just a handful of miles to do before the 1st service and then I think I'm going to get me a set of the gold rimmed Rally Raid wheels

Another great review Matt, agree with the feeling from the front with the larger wheel size cos as you know the Benelli TRK i have has the larger wheels quite a change from the 17 inch on the sports bikes.

I just changed to 15t front sprocket, and now it less wild. After 100km with 15t, i think i really miss the wild scrams, now im 50-50 wether go back to 14t or stick with 15t

The speed feels like a mini bike and the scrambler is like a regular size bike. If you over 6 foot the scrambler is a no brainer. Triumph is also releasing a RR variant and maybe a cruiser 400 soon

Nice one, I think that summarise it nicely. Kate did the describe the Speed 400 as a big Grom! I did wonder if they’d do a Daytona 400…

@@mattbikes46 I think they may wait on Daytona since they just released the 660 plus the RR is definitely coming sos similar to that and the Speedmaster 400 would compete with the meteor 350
