Very different bikes so not a direct comparison. I just love cb3500r but if we compare it with Speed then it fall short in few areas. I feel Speed400 is better but if you ride cb300r then the choice gets very difficult. At this moment Speed seems to be a better choice.

Hi Murali, honestly I like both as both are very different. Speed400 is very powerful, in gear acceleration is excellent and has superb suspension whereas cb350 is calm, easy to ride thanks to extremely light clutch and smooth gear shifts, more pillion friendly. If power and performance is what I am looking for then Speed400 and if I am looking for Easy, relaxed, pillion friendly bike then cb350. Hope I could answer your question. I would pick Speed400. But the best thing to do is to take a test ride as it will give you a fair idea as to what meets your requirements.
